EMOTIONAL PRETEND

Wrote this last sunday after waking up.

It's sunday morning, and as i woke up today

All i see were only shades of gray

Filling my body with melancholic chills

Eyes opened and greeted the day with tears

I may look happy physically

I may laugh out loud crazily

But i feel that inside im empty

And torn appart emotionally

An emotional rollercoaster ride

A surge of agony inside

While sorrow pushes me behind

Threshold of pain, i doubt i can't withstand

I may flash a smile in my face

The faint curve thats tinted with a lie

I may crack funny jokes

Jokes that were molded by emptiness

Am I ever gonna be happy?

When all i want has a price

I only wish for love to descend

To stop me from my EMOTIONAL PRETEND!

	Very nice! Mark, it is a very nice poem! Many people could relate to your feelings. Sometimes it is good to put a happy face & keeping positive despite the pain inside but it is very important to express the pain appropriately as what you did. Don't wait for love to descend...give it freely without expectations!! We cannot depend on others to make us happy...we are the ones in control of our own emotions.Cheer up! It is a wonderful world!! 	Very nice! I agree on whatever in the poem you wrote.Some days are good and there is also bad days.What we need is balance.When we feel down all around us is obscure.We need to know the secret in life.How to filled up our emptiness.That is so simple just accept Jesus as your lord and savior because He is the way the truth and the life.Believe me one day you will wake up full of life and everything surrounds you is so bright.
