Someone (dear to me) once told me something like ‘…no matter what happens, iba talaga ang orig’. We were having some confrontations and talking about something (kinda sensitive na topic) then and I suppose that was said to reassure me but I was neither comforted nor pleased by the statement… In fact, I was saddened a bit. :c hay,,, that was then… now? well, nevermind… Although I believe that Iba Nga Ang Orig, I am just disappointed at times when people—especially the ‘guys’ (both old and young) make that as an excuse to freely explore woMenLandia even if they are already in relationships-or worse-are already married. L It is sad, really sad when that happens… But I know, there will come a time something will sMAck them HaRd back to their senses. In time… I just hope it wont be too late when that time comes… ahay… I just came to think about this the past few days because I know of some people who’re going through some probs lately… ay, la lang… It’s just sad that in a relationship, instead of being loved and treasured, the considered ‘OrIg’ ones (a term I don’t like to be used in a relationship, huh) are usually taken for granted… L Huh... sad reality. ~~~ I must admit, though, that sometimes when I hear the word ‘ORIG’, I smile. It just reminds me of a lot of firsts in my life. A lot of ‘orig’, beautiful things and memories come into my mind… -reminds me of the ‘OrIg’ (loved) ones in my life—my parents, my brothers, my Uncles & Aunts in the province, my tito ipog (miss him=), my cousins(kor,iska,bur,fuks,pu-ka,kuls,kits,kiks,masing,etzus), my firstVERYcloseFriend (sweet), my bestfriend (munz), childhoodfriends (with whom I have played ‘Miss-Miss’ and ‘BalayBalay’ then), my first Crush (“,), my first um ‘love’ :-), elementary barkada(FARA/ JACJAP. hehe), my hiskulBestBuddy(babzy), my hiskul barkada (SiC), my hiskulDanceGrup (GirlPower,hahaha! )… etc… -reminds me of a lot ‘Orig’ memories (too many to elaborate)… J -reminds me of a lot of ‘Orig’ places—particularly in my hometown (DiClum, Dao, Antique: puti-now puntahagdan view, nogas island, siraan, ulo ka diclum, igkaras, ulo ka dao, kag duro pa… ). J Ay, sadya lang… Iba nga talaga ang orig. J (pwera gamit as an excuse ha!) la lang… Sorry but I just can’t help reminiscing at times (just like now=), especially since I got to be reunited with my cousin today and she has a lot of ‘happy’ stories to tell… J ~~~ Well, I am just taking my time (trying my very best) to relax amidst the so many tiring experiences and dismaying stories I am so exposed to lately before lunging to even more ‘toxic’ weeks (of shifting exams, final exams, reporting, finalization of researches, etc.) ahead... And it seems to work. I indeed feel more relaxed. :D I hope to carry this lighter MoOd throughout next week… and the weeks after. --I pray so. ;-) Speaking of ‘ORIG’… one of the things that make me relax and less homesick when I am here at LP is when my brother (or my cousins) play the songs originally composed by very talented Antiquenos… Here is one of the songs I sooo love listening to:D Buhay run ako nga sa marayu gaeskwela Malawid run nga sa marayu nagaobra Galagas ka oras sa kada higayon Sa masiok nga palibot, magamo nga sitwasyon.
