Lift up your prayers to heaven

To a God who is always there.

He is with you when you waken

Lifts you when you stumble

As you walk on weary feet.

He is with you in your sorrows

When no one seems to care,

Watching, waiting, loving

To answer every prayer.

The load he'll always lighten

With joy beyond compare,

When you lift your prayers to heaven
