Daw ano kabudlay ang pagpangabuhi
wara run it mabakal ang ginatago nga salapi.
Pamahaw asta yapon ang dapli ginamus
swerte lang kun ang kapug indi mapan-us.
Si nanay kag si tatay nagapangabudlay
tudlo sa alima kag sa kahig nagakiririmay.
Si toto kag si inday gasarakit ang busong
dara guro kang ginatawag nga gutom.
Hay abaw! perti ka budlay ang mangin pobre
anu-anu na lang ang galapak sa alambre.
