CRYSTAL HEALING: a definition

Ang Crystal healing ay isang paniwala kung saan ito ay may mga enerhiya at properties na nagpapagaling ng isang tao.  Hindi ito bahagi ng pangkaraniwang medical standard subalit may kakayahang metapisikal ang crystals upang magpagaling.

Sabi ng mga quartz crystal Crystal healers ay gumagana ang ganitong paraan sa panggamot sapagkat everything ay energy at ito’y naba vibrate sa iba’t ibang vibrational energy system at frequencies. Bawa’t isang living thing ay may vibrational energy system, which includes chakras, subtle bodies and meridians. Sa paggamit ng tamang crystal ay one can allegedly retune an energy system or rebalance a body's energies, thus improving well-being.

Ang earliest records of crystal healing come from ancient Egypt. The Ebers papyrus states the medicinal uses of many different gems. Healing with crystals is also recorded in India's Ayurvedic records and in traditional Chinese medicine from around five thousand years ago.

Crystals at ang mga Chakras:

Minsan ang crystals ay inilalagay sa mga chakra na umaaayon sa kanilang kulay at spiritual property. Ito ay pang malinis at ma energize ang mga chakra at magbigay ng sense of well being at good health.

The purpose of a laying on of stones is to release etheric, emotional, mental or spiritual blocks to well-being. Ang role ng  healer ay maging comforting,  supportive and non-judgmental, giving the client safety to release these emotions and talk. Ito ay bahagi ng healing process.

Isa sa pinaka simpleng mga paraan upang ma balance ang buong chakra system ay ang paglagay ng isang crystal ng nararapat na kulay sa bawa’t area. Ito ay makakapagbigay ng boost of its own vibration without altering its energies or the overall harmony of the system.

Isang paniwala na ang interaction between the stones and chakras will return the chakra into healthy vibration, therefore healing the part of the body affected.

Simply by placing a different beneficial stone on each of the seven chakras can be a general tonic to strengthen and tone up the entire system. If you lay your collection of stones out so that you can easily see them all you will find your attention goes to the best choice of stone for each chakra. Magandang ideya din ang paglagay ng tinatawag na grounding stone tulad ng smoly quartz in between the feet as anchor.

Unahin ang paglagay ng crystal o bato sa lowest chakra and then move upwards.

 Pag inaalis na ang mga bato, unahin muna ang highest one first, leaving the lowest stone last.

Here is a list of the chakras with the associated crystals and gem stones:

Root chakra: Jasper (bloodstone), Garnet, Onyx, Rubies

1. Choose a red stone to put near the base of the spine or, alternatively, use two red stones of the same sort and rest one near the top of each leg. This deals with the base chakra.

Sacral Chakra: Carnelian, Hematite, Moonstone

2. For the sacral chakra choose an orange coloured stone to put on the lower abdomen.

Solar Plexus Chakra: Citrine, Amber, Topaz

3. At the solar plexus use a yellow stone, placed between the navel and the ribcage. If there is tension in this area an energy—shifting stone, like a tiger's eye or a small clear quartz point, can be put at the diaphragm to help release.

Heart Chakra: Rose Quartz, Chinese Fluorite

Throat Chakra: Aquamarine, Turquoise

5. For the throat chakra use a light blue stone . Place it at the base of the throat, at the top of the breastbone.

Forehead Chakra: Amethyst, Sapphire, Turquoise,

6. An indigo or dark blue stone is normally used to balance the brow chakra in the centre of the forehead. Amethyst or another purple stone can be used here.

Crown Chakra: Clear quartz, Amethyst

7. The stone for the crown chakra rests just above the top of the head. If you have chosen an amethyst for the brow, use a clear quartz at the crown. If you used a dark blue stone at the brow you can use violet stone at the crown.

Nasabi na natin na lahat ng crystals ay may healing properties. Ngunit nararapat lamang na hayaan natin ang crystal sa ating possession for a few days upang ma-observe ang effect nito sa atin. Kapag nahanap nyo na ang bagay sa inyo, iyon na ang crystal na gagamit ninyo.  

Another very common method is wearing the crystal. If long term healing or benefit is desired from a particular crystal, then most people prefer to wear the gemstone in a pendant or in a ring.

Isa pang paraan sa paggamit ng crystals sa healing ay ang paggawa ng elixirs. Ilalagay lamang ang inyong crystal sa isang glass bowl na puno ng spring water at iiwan ito sa ilalim ng sinag ng araw sa loob ng 2 hours. This water can then be bottled (preferably in a dark glass bottle with an air tight stopper) at maaaring gamit sa loob ng isang linggo. Kung gusto mong gamitin ng mas matagal, lagyan ng brandy (mga 50% sa total amount ng liquid). This elixir can be drunk or added to your bath or used as a spray. However, please study the minerals in a particular crystal before drinking its elixir. Some gemstones and crystals might not be suitable for making elixirs. Either the crystal might be water-soluble or poisonous.

A useful method of healing with crystals is putting the crystal in your bath water. You can also add to the healing environment by burning incense or scented candles and bathe in this relaxing environment. This can be quite a rejuvenating experience.

Cleansing the crystals is also equally important. You can place them in the sunlight or the moonlight for 12 hours after washing them thoroughly under running water. Take care, that water soluble crystals will dissolve by frequent washing.

BLOODSTONE--Blood disorders, heart circulation, vitality,    courage, generates higher states of consciousness.

BLUE QUARTZ--Detoxification, creativity, calming

CALCITE--Kidney stimulant, aids in                            astral projection, balances yin/yang qualities

CARNELIAN -Strengthening, creativity, prosperity, lower back problems, reproductive organs, encourage opening & curiosity.

CITRINE--Breaks up energy blockages in the body, strengthens will, vision, balance, self-confidence, helps in letting go of addictions

CLEAR QUARTZ--Powerful transmitter, amplifies/directs thought forms, healing energy balancer, promote clarity, attunes one to higher self

DIAMOND--Removes blockages, negativity, brain balancer, draws toxicity from the body

May masama ba sa crystal healing? Para sa akin ay wala akong nakikitang masama sa paggamit ng mga alternatibong paraan upang gumaling ang isang tao. Noong unang panahon, nabuhay lamang tayo sa mga herbs o mga natural na lunas na galing sa kalikasan di ba? Ang ibang mga medisina din ay nanggaling sa mga halaman o natural minerals o elements.

Ang crystals ay may tangan na enerhiya na nanggaling sa lupa din. Ang ating katawan ay puno din ng enerhiya. Enerhiya sa enerhiya… sa tingin ko walang masama doon.

Holistic ang approach ng crystal healing at iba pang alternative healing. Ang ibig sabihin nito ay it involves the totality of a person. Ang mind, body at spirit ay pinagkakaisa at ang power ng positivism ay pinapagana. Ang ispirituwal na aspeto ng tao ay lalong pinalalakas o pinagtitibay habang ibinabalik ang katawan sa isang natural condition kung saan simple katulad noong unang panahon.  .
