This is the
website for the descendants of
Padre Mariano
Vicente Zapanta and with the three meztizas who were left by their
father ~ Bulolacao who is a native of the island (Atis) and a Spanish mother ~
Doņa Maria.
The ladies were left to his care to be tutored. The oldest sister
~ Cawayan
bore 4 children and died; the second sister ~
Inyawan
came home to care for her nieces and herself bore 2 children; the third
sister ~ Tinawagan, also came home; looked after the children and herself
bore 6 children which one of the children is the only son ~ Francisco.
This project
started in 1960's by my Uncle Andres and the book was borrowed and
passed around by other families. I became interested in the
project at the time of my Balikbayan 1982 and diligently copied the book
for myself, not knowing I would continue this project. There are 8 generations from the oldest and 5 generations from
the youngest child. Names were mentioned from the 1800's to the
current dates. With the Internet, I am able to connect with other
families who are interested with their genealogy.
