| Job Description |
Job Description: * Provides photo services for documentation purposes, including photos for ID cards, licenses, passports and other travel documents. * Saves, formats and sends memory card or films for developing to an external photo lab studio. In times of urgency, develops black and white photos in the darkroom. * Picks-up and carefully checks developed B&W or colored photos from an external photo lab studio. * Personally attends and conducts photo coverage of AIT’s important events. * Provides lamination services for certificates, ID cards or other documents requested by customers. * Checks, reports and submits periodically all internal or external charge forms to the Admin Officer for ERP journal data entry encoding. * Assess materials needed in the Photo Unit and submits requests to the Admin Officer for encoding online purchase requests. * Performs other related duties as assigned by the News and Media Specialist as well as the Senior Photographer in-charge. * Person with an interest in journalism and possessing some English- language writing skills is preferred. Preference will be given to someone with an interest in English and some demonstrated writing skills. |

| Qualifications |
The Photo Unit provides photo services for both promotional and academic support purpose, covering the activities of the Asian Institute of Technology as a whole, its Schools, AIT Extension, Research and Outreach Centers, and other offices and community groups of the Institute. The Photo Unit employs a senior photographer and a photo technician.
Qualifications:
* Graduate of Bachelor in Photography or other related journalism / communications or multimedia courses.
* Proficient in photography: Digital photography and video.
* Literate in computer programs such as MS Word, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, ACDSee.
* English-language ability. Able to write basic English-language prose and willing to learn journalism style of writing.
* Eagerness and willingness to learn.
* Willingness to work extended or irregular working hours at times.
