An Avalanche of Blessings

Perhaps the invisible shield we hang over our children is made up of the values we instill in them, our desperate caring, our prayer for their safety. So we turn to prayer—for our children and maybe just as much for ourselves. We join our concern with God’s—the divine parent who loves them even more than we do.

We do not pray for our children in some wishful way, superstitiously trying to prevent all harm. Instead we take an active stance that recognizes our human limitations at the same time it bows before God’s power. “I will do everything I can to keep them safe,” we say. “But I’m imperfect. I call on you, great God and loving parent, to protect them when I cannot.”

We ask for an avalanche of blessings, all the best God has in store for them.

Prayer for Fruitful Seasons

Almighty God, Lord of heaven and earth: We humbly pray that thy gracious providence may give and preserve to our use the harvests of the land and of the seas, and may prosper all who labor to gather them, that we, who constantly receive good things from thy hand, may always give thee thanks; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Idara ninyo sa inyo pangamuyo ang lola ni chicks kag mama ni grace nga sa diin sa hospital pa tana kag may leukemia. kabay nga ang amo nga sakit maatubang na kag paagi sa atun pagtoo kag pagsalig sa aton Mahal nga Dios ang Iya kabubut-on ang matuman sa ngaran sang atun Mahal nga Ginoong Jesus ang atun Bantog nga Manugbulong!!AMEN. Palihog ko idara gid natun sa pangamuyo. Salamat gid nga duro duro.

'Nanay, thank you so much sa prayer nga ginpatungod mo kay Nanay ko she is now out of danger, out of the hospital bed, even though she was paralized but she is with us, I love you Nanay you are such a miraculous woman, I wish i could meet you and give you my real hugs and kisses.
