SCOPE

Piling, Shoring, dewatering, reinforced concrete casting, excavation, site preparation, mobilization and demobilization, consultant, client and authority submittals and obtaining approvals.



TECHNICAL ENGINEER

To work under the supervision of the Project or Site Manager

Job Description:

1. To supervise and manage all QA/QC functions in the workplace and manage day to day QA/QC functions.
2. To Interface and coordinate with operation and clients for QC matters and coordinate with the third party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities.
3. To prepare Quality Control procedures, Inspection Test Plan (ITP) according to project/client requirements and follow-up for its approval.
4. Provides technical coordination to clients and consultants.
5. Communicate lab test results to clients through professional reports.
6. Preparation and submission of QA/QC reports.
7. Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS project or Primavera and MS Office.
8. Cost and value monitoring and reporting.
9. Profit and loss reporting.
10. Variation identification and management.
11. To supervise project schedule and quantity reporting to ensure the preparation
and presentation of the Critical Items Action Report.
12. To interface with the project site management and counterparts for specific
planning and scheduling tasks.
13. To assist in performing some cost engineering functions as required.
14. Follow up and obtaining project NOCs and permits from authorities.
15. Any other responsibility as assigned for.



SITE ENGINEER

To work under the supervision of the Project or Site Manager

Job Description:

1. To ensure site works are planned, completed to the required standards within
deadline.
2. Running the day to day matters related to the project implementation.
3. Implementation and monitoring work schedules and progress on site in
accordance to the master and detailed work program.
4. Conducting inspections and checking of work
5. Requisition of materials and equipment for the projects.
6. To ensure safety regulations are being implemented and observed at the project
site.
7. Other duties assigned for.



DESIGN ENGINEER

To work under the supervision of the Technical Manager

1. To develop piles and shoring designs according to project specifications.
2. To manage professional draftsman.
3. To check and evaluate design and material specifications for tender.
4. To prepare and check material data sheets and coordinate with procurement
Engineer to select materials.
5. Quantity and Cost estimation according to company procedures.
6. Manage external engineering consultants and authorities for projects and bids in
accordance with Design Management requirements.
7. Prepare documentation and presentation material for pre-qualifications, bids
and projects.

Also requires knowledge of ACI & BS design standards. Computer skills and
must have the capacity in writing technical reports in English.


PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description:

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute and finalize piling and shoring projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objective and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.



Responsibilities:

1. Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
2. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in
collaboration with senior management.
3. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve the goals.
4. Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes
where necessary.
5. Determine and access need for staff and machinery.
6. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
7. Identify project dependencies and critical path.
8. Track project milestones and deliverables.
9. Develop and deliver project reports, proposals, and requirements documentations
and presentations.
10. Leading and management of QA/QC, planning, technical submissions,
handing over, payments and receivables, site progress.
11. Site organization and management.

Required also to have knowledge of MS Office, MS Project or Primavera, English reporting skills and a valid UAE driver's license.


SITE MANAGER

Job Description:

For small projects, the role of the Site Manager will be the same as of the Project Manager. For big projects the Site Manager will be reporting to a Project Manager.
