Remember

“Remember the Lord, though you are in a far-off land..” Jeremiah 51:50
In the book of Genesis, we are told that after God brought judgment upon the world through the Flood, He remembered Noah (see 8:1). Though He had dealt harshly with the world and rebellious humanity, God remembered Noah. Later we read that when Noah and his family landed on terra firma and stepped off the ark, Noah brought an offering to the Lord. So not only did God remember Noah, but Noah also remembered God.
That is something we need to do: remember God. We need to remember all that He has done on our behalf. The Bible tells us to remember our Creator in the days of our youth (see Ecclesiastes 12:1). Not only are we told to remember the Lord when we are young, but we are also told to remember Him when we are in a distant land. Jeremiah delivered those words to Israel, reminding them that when they were in bondage and surrounded by a pagan culture, they were not to forget the Lord (see Jeremiah 51:50).
In many ways, we are living in a pagan culture today. We are living in a culture that has no interest in God, for the most part. People are interested in spirituality. People are interested in religion. But are they really interested in the true God?
As Christians, we are to remember the Lord in a distant land. We are to remember that God has a plan and purpose for our lives. Why? Because He constantly thinking about us. He is aware of us. He never forgets us. Therefore on this day set aside for giving thanks, let’s be sure to remember Him.

CHAN RAK TER nay! happy thanksgiving day!
Today passge nay is Jesus Cleanses the Temple Lk 19: 45-48. we could somehow situate the two events in your sharing.

The theme of this passage is: 'The tree and its fruits.' And Luke places it in such a way that we should discover how to test this fruit, how to remain in pure condition.
All of us are temples of the Holy Spirit, temples of the Lord. Jesus says: 'My house shall be a house of prayer.' All our efforts should, then, be oriented towards this goal to achieve in whatsoever situation. Let us try it!!!!!!

Prayer: Father I welcome You completely in repeating many times today: Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be. Amen
