We are greatly influenced by Western[Spanish], American and Eastern [Chinese] cultures. That's why we, Filipinos, use/embrace most of their arts and cultures in our daily lives.

Kang nagsaliksik ako, pira don ka tuig, may nakit-an ako sa sangka pinasahi nga libro, "Ancient Filipino Almanac"; parte sa kultura kang Panay. Isara amo ang ngaran kang mga binulan kag inadlaw .' Sounds interesting, isnt' it!

INADLAW [DAYS of the Week]
1] Ligid-ligid [a day of leisure and rest]
2] Tagburakad [the start of the working week]
3] Dumasan [when folks are busy in their work]
4] Dukut-dukut [a day when they are still busy]
5] Baylo-baylo [the market day]
6] Danghus [they resume work]
7] Hingot-hingot [when they wind up their weekly chores]
