In my conversation with Fridy about my websites ( I hired him to do my NGO & resort websites), I happened
to ask him who funds the Kinaray-a website. It became obvious to me that he was funding the site himself and Tumandok pledged to pay for the month of January. That was when I volunteered to help with the campaign to raise funds and I offered to write a solicitation letter.

He never asked me to donate. I offered without hesitation. I could understand that the financial aspect of a project (expenses for this matter since this is not a for profit organization) can sometimes be overlooked if one is more focused in sharing his/her blessings/talents. I think this is what happened to Fridy.

Even before the solicitation letter was posted (it got lost in an ocean of e-mails of Admin..), we, Mangofever,Psyche,Juzzme,Tumandok,Louwezz, Jigzs, Rogerm, Blurry decided to start the campaign in the chat room and the rest of the members in the chat room joined in. Fridy and Anne helped monitor the pledges. Other members continued the campaign through the Forum.

With every one working together & joining hands, the campaign was successful. We were able to get pledges to cover the monthly maintenance of the site for the entire 2007.

As I am writing this, Fridy and some of the pioneer members/supporters are having a meeting in Manila to organize, plan etc. as this site turned out to be bigger with membership growing everyday, more so than it was expected. I am sure that as soon as they are back from their meeting , a report will be posted as well as the financial statement.

Hello zadie! Thanks for raising your concerns and questions. I have created a lot of website for Commercial, Personal and Organization. I have my own hosting services that caters to all of my web design projects. This website was created because I want to share my talents to all Antiqueños with the “mission of reuniting all Antiqueños all over the world”. I used my small resources to construct this website and my talent as well. I did not expect that the website will turn out well-accepted. A lot of Antiqueños enjoyed visiting the site since it has been giving colors to their lives specially members abroad. Im very happy sa mga nagkaratabo. I'm more inspired because of the support of the local members and members abroad.

The demands grow until such time na hindi na kaya ng hosting ko. I tried to upgrade it but still kulang man giyapon. Gin open ko ang problem kay Tatay King Carey Escaño “tumandok”, pasalamat gid ako kana gin sponsor na ang month of January . Tapos nag offer man si Tita Marilou Magbanua Herman “mariloucares” and Daddy Rogerm Mojica “rogerm” to help solicit for the financial support of the site. Actually they already give financial support before they ask for the solicitations. this site is the fruit of nong fridy's talent when it comes to website designing. a lot has happened since it started running last sept 4th, 2006..the site stands alone, without the support of the provincial government or any politician. it was put up with a noble vision of reuniting Antiqueños all over the world..so far, it has gathered hundreds of Antiqueños all over the world and this was manifested by the camaraderie during the site launching at San Jose, Antique last Dec. 29th.

in order to meet the needs and demands of the growing number of members of the site, nong fridy decided to upgrade the hosting of the site, which involves the financial aspect. a lot of members, especially abroad, have volunteered to provide and pay for the monthly dues of the site..if u have any questions about the site, please feel free to us an email so as we would be able to address them.

In addition to what they have said, wara ti financial planning dya nga site hay wara sa imagination namun that it will grow big like it is now. I'm the 9th member of this site and Fridy is my classmate in high school sa SAC. Rugya lang kami nagkitaay liwat (after 13 years?). Nakita ko that we are sharing the same passion, that is to bring our talents back to antique amo ra nga nag-ugyon kami para sa mga kinahanglanun. Since I have made projects run sa Antique kag pirmi gid ako naga-uli didto, amo ra nakabulig man ako gamay sa mga content kag pang invite ka mga tawo sa umpisa. This site is never a politically motivated site. In fact ako gid ang nagapanguna nga indi gid pagpasudlan ka pulitika ang site nga diya.In every activities that we are planning, I always put it into consideration.

Fridy created this because he is in the web business and he has love for the province. I joined and supported this site bacause it is a good venue for my projects (which is in line with filmmaking) and I love the province too. Ang site naga-welcome sa tanan nga magagamit kadya para sa anda personal nga tinutuyo. Ang simple lang nga ginapangayo nga dya pagabuligan para maglawid kag mas duro pa ang makapolos.

Ang gugma kag pagkahidlaw sa Antique amo ang nagapapag-un kang dya nga site. Amo ra nga ang mga members mismo ang nangita it lihuk kun paano dya mapadayon.
