Philippians 1:21 for to me, living is for Christ, and dying is even better.
My Dad passed away the other day so I’m thinking about death and loss. I have often told others to be happy for me when I go because I’ll be in a much better place. Here is an attempt to reason why the Apostle Paul said “dying is even better”

Letter from Heaven

I wanted to let you know I’m okay. As I was leaving you an angel took my hand and brought me here. I had no fear and the transition was easy. I MADE IT TO HEAVEN!!!! It’s hard for me to believe I actually made it. I fully understand now how much our Creator loves us. All He wanted was my simple love. I did not think it was enough but it was.

How I look and feel now is totally amazing. I like it! All my pain and worry are gone. And you know, all my worries and concerns and questions have been answered. I know now how much God really loves me and why He created me. I feel now the love of God completely. His love and light radiate through me and this place. Everything is filled with warmth and love and light. Even I have His glow. You just wait… it is totally wonderful.

Everyone is here. All our relatives as far back as time itself are here. I know them all even Adam and Eve. There is no need for introductions we all know each other and more important we love each other.

There are these great and awesome looking angels here. Each one is different. Wow God sure has an imagination. I spend a lot of time just saying WOW and OOH and AWE. I even got to pet a lion. When he purred it shook my whole body. All the animals are friendly and filled with God’s wonderful love. Oh, and the mansions! I get one!!! The streets are pure gold. Wait till you see what pure gold looks like. The emeralds and rubies and are huge and they belong to us all. And the throne of God is indescribable. The food sure is good too. Remember the living water Jesus talked about and the tree of life. Never did I eat such food and it makes me feel so good through and through.

I am so very happy here. Please don’t suffer about me. Soon we will be together. I can’t wait to show you around. You know, love is so much more than I understood it. Love is everything. Love is everything that last and has meaning. When I say I love you now… it means so much more. Don’t be too concerned about your life. God has assured me He loves you and will care for you now.

If I could say one thing to you it would be love God and trust Him. He made you and loves you. Life and God’s love are so much more than we know.
You know, we are getting these beautiful white robes and I have been told we are coming to see you soon. We get to be in this wonderful great wedding with Jesus.

With all the love of Jesus that fills me, I’ll see you soon my loves!

steve, our condolences for the loss of your dear father. i do believe and for sure that he is in a good place where there's no more tears, no more pains and no more fears!!

i like that verse on Philippians 1:21 "As for me to live is Christ and to die is gain".
