hi amerose,
emotional stability (happiness for that matter) comes with age, the more we get matured, we tend to accept realities as they come. however, i would stress that happiness starts from within ourselves, we don't exactly rely on outside factors to make us happy. duro man jan "loveless" but they are happy. Love is more of giving or sharing a part of ourselves than "receiving" or expecting something in return. hmm, love is a many splendored thing. For love to survive takes two "i and u and not i or u". if the foundation is not strong, it will eventually fall out ... the next question is, is the kind of love you're in by chance or by choice? ... no matter what, God loves you for what you are. What you can become is your gift to Him. take care.
